Yodha (2024) Hindi Movie: After terrorists hijack a passenger plane, an off-duty soldier aboard devises a strategy to defeat the hijackers and ensure the passengers’ survival when the engine fails.
After failing to secure a hijacked aircraft and suffering a huge collateral – the system makes commanding officer Arun Katyal the scapegoat of his elite unit, the Yodha Task Force. As a result, Arun loses his uniform, family, friends, and his wife. Years later, another flight gets hijacked and the system is shocked to find Arun on board in very mysterious circumstances. All evidence points towards Arun being on a mission for revenge against the system that snatched everything away from him. Is Arun really a traitor or is he the patriot that his father wished to be? It all unfolds in a high octane action packed thriller – 15,000 feet in the sky.

Wow, did “Yodha” ever deliver! Directed by the dynamic duo of Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre, this movie throws Sidharth Malhotra into a whirlwind of action sequences that are both exhilarating and surprisingly fresh for Indian cinema. The narrative might utilize some familiar genre tropes, but “Yodha” injects a whole new energy level that keeps you riveted to the screen from the opening scene. The film thrives on a breakneck pace. Each scene throws you right into the heart of the action, eschewing lulls and propelling you forward. The directors are masters at building suspense, with each plot twist ratcheting up the tension.
