Maharani S03 All Episodes Hindi Webseries Review
‘Maharani,’ set in the 90s Bihar, is a dramatization of a female politician who rose to power after fighting several odds. This political thriller is loosely based on Rabri Devi, Bihar’s first and by far the only woman chief minister, who was handpicked as his successor by her husband, former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav. Similarly, the plot of this show revolves around Rani Bharti, a homemaker and wife of Bihar’s Chief Minister, whose life takes a sudden unexpecting turn when her husband, Bheema Singh Bharti, declares her as the state’s next CM. The intriguing premise of this drama is how Rani takes on the task of administering the state’s politics despite having no formal education or understanding of politics. In the opening scene, a man from the lower caste is shot dead for refusing to serve his ‘Maaliks’ (Masters). With such a strong caste-based system in place, people find hope in ruling CM Bheema Singh, who represents backward classes and is trying to eradicate the social injustices prevalent in the state.
